Egg Printing

Millions of eggs are produced, packaged, and processed in the UK every day. With such a short shelf life, marking eggs and cartons clearly is essential for traceability.

ATD understands the need for reliable printing machines that can meet these production demands, and can offer multiple systems as part of our egg printing range, including LEIBINGER printers as well as our own IP3000 machines.

Designed specifically for egg and egg carton printing, all LEIBINGER EP machines integrate fully with MOBA and STAALKAT/SANOVO graders, enabling time-saving advantages such as automatic updates of batch and best-before information. A single LEIBINGER can handle over 30,000 eggs/hour, using FDA- and EU-compliant red, green, and blue inks to provide legibility on all types of eggshell.

As well as our LEIBINGER CIJ range, ATD also offers our own IP3000 TIJ systems, which can be supplied in a variety of configurations to suit your needs. For example, we can supply a system with 6 printheads complete with a conveyor to code eggs placed in trays of 30, making it the ideal plug-and-play system for egg farmers. Additionally, we have a specially designed conveyor for carrying single eggs, allowing you to print on the side of an egg without an egg grader.
