Industrial Stack Coders

 

ATD’s innovative range of unique stack coding systems are capable of marking with ultra clear company identity, product branding and stack specific information. Typically, stacks are printed with up to 500 high images, however due to the modular design of the ATD stack coder other print heights can be accommodated.

We offer two types of stack coding – Moving Stack Printing and Stationary Stack Printing.

High quality print

Our stack coders are designed to print high resolution graphics, with a typical print resolution of 7 drops per mm and is created to maintain optimum print quality at all times.

This innovative design incorporates a unique print head cleaning feature, which is completely programmable and automatic, however manual override is also available if required.

Minimal maintenance

The ATD stack coder requires very little maintenance, during normal production periods. Due to the automated cleaning cycle (which takes just 8 seconds to complete), ink is pressurised and pumped out of all the nozzles of each print module, carrying any dust or debris with it. This important feature means minimal operator intervention, minimal mess, and a lower wastage cost to the customer.

Variety of inks

ATD have several inks available for use in a stack coder including black, red, blue, and green inks.

Inks are supplied in 3L containers that are compatible with a bulk ink supply system, and they are non-hazardous, non-flammable, odourless and have a shelf life of 12 months.

  • Printed ink saving feature means print text fields can be printed in variable resolution.

ATD High Resolution Printers

The ATD IP8000 system supports printheads of 50mm and 100mm individual heights and allows multiple heads to be stacked together to make a one-pass printable area up to 800mm high.

The ATD IP9000/2 is simple to install on-line and provides an integrated keyboard and display for controlling one or two printheads up to 50mm high.
